| For more than two decades, the Academy Concert Series has been bringing live, historically informed chamber music to Toronto. The 2011-2012 season will be presented by Co-Artistic Directors Kerri McGonigle and Nicolai Tarasov.
The series has three concerts a season, presented by accomplished artists on period instruments and using historically informed performance styles. The music is also brought to life through an engaging narrative, delivered by a professional actor who introduces each work and shares its historical significance with the audience. These elements come together to create an evening of music the way composers intended it to be heard.
As a non-profit organization, ACS relies on the generous support of donations from its patrons and supporters. We keep our ticket prices low to encourage attendance and community participation. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to support the continuation of the series.
