Charlene Yeh
Charlene studied the viola under Steven Dann at the University of Toronto and the Glenn Gould School (Royal Conservatory of Music). She then pursued studies in Historical Performance Practice at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in The Hague, Netherlands, where she had the opportunity to study with Enrico Gatti, Kati Debretzeni and Elizabeth Wallfisch. While in Holland, she furthered her training with an apprenticeship with the Academia Montis Regalis (Italy), a Jerwood scholarship with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and a fellowship at the Academie européenne de musique d'Aix-en-Provence. She obtained her Masters of Music degree from the Conservatoire National et Supérieur de Musique et Danse de Paris in 2010, under the tutelage of François Fernandez. Charlene has a deep love of chamber music and performs with Tafelmusik and Cappricio Stravagante.
